Microsoft acquires R2 Studios

Microsoft won the bout in acquiring the startup named R2 Studios against Apple and Google, whose primary works are on home automation and entertainment. R2 Studios has a number of patents that had something to do with the various mobile devices to control a home entertainment software and hardware. Since Microsoft had acquired the company, it had begun the work on the Xbox division. R2 Studios was founded by Blake Krikorian, who is also founded the company behind the Slingbox, a set-top device that allows the users to stream video across the cloud network.
