Calcium is a mineral found in many foods. The body needs calcium to maintain strong bones and to carry out many important functions. Most calcium is stored in bones and teeth, where it supports their structure and hardness. Calcium is already known for its vital role in the development of the musculoskeletal system, but there are many other processes of your body, which depend on calcium for their finest function.
